Celebrating Our Elders

Sunshine Retirement Living opened its doors in 2010 and has grown to include 19 senior living communities across the United States. Sunshine is dedicated to enriching the lives of its residents by creating communities that are not only dynamic and entertaining, but also exude a genuine warmth and friendliness. All 19 of the family-owned and operated company’s different communities have one thing in common—a genuine caring and kindness you feel as soon as you walk in the door.

These Eyes Have Seen

The result was These Eyes Have Seen, a custom-built online platform that lives on Tumblr and features gorgeous portraits and inspiring stories from the greatest generation. Poignant. Insightful. Heart-breaking. Laugh-out-loud funny. The stories they share are as diverse as the portraits we capture. Filled with joy, courage and optimism, every story honors a life well-lived. Together, they offer a powerful perspective on life, love and the journey we all share in common.

Digital Memory Book Offers a Snapshot in Time

In order to capture world-class portraits and stories, we worked with top photographers and writers to create custom content to post on These Eyes Have Seen’s website, as well as unique branded Facebook and Instagram pages. We worked with the client to build a social strategy with geo- and demographic-targeted social advertising in the markets served by Sunshine. In the first two months, we grew These Eyes Have Seen’s Facebook page to more than 4,100 page likes with a total reach of more than 200,000.

Video Production

In 2016, Moon Tide Studios produced 17 short films for Sunshine, highlighting the experience and amenities that come from living in each of the individual communities. Interviews with residents, family members and Sunshine’s top team members resulted in stunning films designed to attract potential new residents.
